This week I’m doing a review for the 3DGame Studio engine, this engine has been used for a variety of different purposes from cars to mobile device and even other products with Microsoft windows.  Its graphic’s are DirectX and its director is Conitec Datasytems. This game engine also has a variety of prices from free with just a A8 engine, script debugger and model, level editors until $899.00 with all the extra’s of previous editions with 12 months of support. It is rated about 3.2 stars and is quite popular in the field that it is used. It is used for 2D and 3D programs alike and is also quite popular with video games, tools, and simulations.

Machinarium Review

Always liking a good challenge "Machinarium" is definitely one that got me thinking when I first played it though it did make it enjoyable with its cartoony but realistic style. Debuting in 2009, Machinarium is an interesting little game that feels like a treasure hunt and puzzle game met iron giant.

You are in charge of a little tin robot who navigates a little junk yard trying to find its way through levels and landscapes. It not really very actiony like I would normally prefer but it does exercise the mind even through its little mini-games to find out its hints to complete a level. Audio-wise its not very monumental but when you think of the simple concept here you don’t really need a star wars audio program. Its little boops and beeps fit very nicely. Overall I would recommend this game to those gamers who think more about strategic and puzzle game play than those who want to immerse themselves in the action play , weaponry, or special effects.

Post-90 Game, Split/Second

Growing up with a Father who no matter when the occasion will stop anything he’s doing to watch an action movie, I am definitely no stranger to things blowing up. That is why when I came across a game that final completes the desire to blow up traffic I flocked to it like sweets. If you have ever had road rage you will love this game like no other because when you get off of work, are rushing to your job, or whenever in-between you will finally be able to blow up that rude teenage who cut you off in traffic.
With only the press of a button, trains can crash, buildings explode, and entire bridges collapse destroying 1 to all of Competition who wishes to threaten your lead. Split Second was released in May 2010 and the plot is a mock reality TV show that races for money and recognition through different races. It includes regular racing, airstrikes from helicopters, out running kamikaze trains, and a lot more. Any lover of speed, adrenaline, and Michael Bay explosions will definitely enjoy this game and blow off  steam at the same time.

Analyzing a Pre-1990's Game- Donkey Kong

In truth, video games and I are going through a seperation phase but that doesn't mean that I have forgotten the ones that I grew up on. From the beginning of the 90's til the new millineum, video games will always be an important part of me but the old orginal game of Donkey Kong is one that I do really wish to have seen during its Golden years. Debuting during the early 1980's Donkey Kong was created by Shigeru Miyamoto beginning a large series of Kong games that continued for over a decade.
The first game featured a large ape named Donkey Kong and a camio of Mario the star of one of Nintendo's other most popular franchises Super Mario Brother's.

Now compared to the games of today the Graphic's, Gameplay, and Audio are much to be desired, but back when it was released this game was quite a hit making a sequel a must have.
It was mainly composed of ladders and bridges as the environment, with Donkey Kong throwing barrels to stop Mario. Yet, such a simple game still brought difficulty, though not through excessive sounds and overly complex stories but just through perservence from round after round.
Manufactured by Nintendo, Donkey kong started out as a basic arcade game helping establish Nintendo out of video game's downward slomp and into the major company we know today. It along with Zelda and Mario helped video games All Over return after over coming extinction.
